Yountville
There was a time when Yountville's only claim to fame was as the home of the largest Veteran’s Home in the United States. The Vets home is still there but the town offers much more these days.
The very welcoming commercial district features some of the Valley’s best restaurants, several first class lodging facilities, and the V Marketplace—a former winery now housing specialty shops, art galleries and restaurants.
With a population of less than 3000, Yountville is the smallest of the County’s cities.
